Quality and Improvement
Atlas Tool Works is registered to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 for the scope of: Providing customers with precision parts and assemblies using precision machining, water jet and laser technologies, metal stamping, EDM, and fabrication/assembly.
Atlas Tool Works is ITAR Registered with the US State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). A copy of our registration certificate is available upon request.
Atlas Tool Works commits to:
- Comply with the requirements of the:
- Customer
- Quality Management System (QMS)
- Continually improve the effectiveness of its QMS
- Prevent the unauthorized transfer of ITAR related articles, products and technologies
- Establish and review QMS objectives in procedure (5.1)
Quality is not necessarily a tight tolerance, a shiny surface, or a perfect fit. Quality is satisfying what the customer wants, needs, and is willing to pay for. Always keep in mind these broad steps toward achieving quality:
- Determine the customer's requirements (wants and needs).
- Set standards to define all requirements
- Prepare plans to meet those requirements.
- Communicate requirements and plans effectively to all concerned.
- Assess the ability to meet the requirements (or the changes required).
- Select/use capable processes.
- Control the processes.
